John Bowman of Clean Sweep is quite ill.


Please pray for John Bowman, who we recently took to the hospital in Coxen Hole, Roatan.
He was told he had a herniated disc and possible lung cancer after that visit.
In the past month, his pain has increased tremendously and he has lost lot of weight.
He finally agreed to go to San Pedro Sula (on the mainland) for a CT scan to further
investigate cancer options.

We have received word that John has extensive cancer throughout his spine and lungs. He
has been given five months to live without chemo and possibly a couple of years with chemo
treatment.

We gave been praying fervently for John. He was to return to Helene today but was unable to
because his pain is so bad that he cannot get out of bed. Now, the doctors are looking at a
couple of chemo treatments to decrease the pain and get him back home to Helene. All this
will cost several thousand US dollars, which of course, he does not have.

His entire family and support system is here on Helene. John has a eight month old daughter
and a two year old son. Please pray for John and his family.

We are jumpstarting our project to complete the procedure room, where we will be able to house
patients overnight. as needed. John will probably need 24 hour case should he be able to return
to Helene. Dr. Al is coming down next week. He will oversee a lot of this process... so timing is
perfect in that sense.

We all love John very much and want to help in any way possible. God is in control of this entire
situation. We trust Him rather than our own understandings. Proverbs 3:5
