Two months serving in Helene

Many of the folks that regularly read this blog have been to Helene on a mission trip for one or two weeks. Serving in Helene is such a unique and special experience that many volunteers hope someday to return to Helene. One such person is Paul Frazier. Paul was on the Sunset Summer trip in 2006. During the Fall of his first college year, he keep on thinking about his experience in Helene and the friends he left behind. In the Spring of 2007, he applied for an internship position with Alternative Missions, and was accepted.

Paul has created a web site called, www.ilovehelene.com.

In his blog, he writes about his experiences servicing in Helene. Check it out. Don't be surprised if the feelings you had while serving in Helene get rekindled. It's a great read. Paul is a cool guy with the right spirit.
